They say nothing bad ever happens in quaint Askergan County. To Cody Lawrence it sounds like the perfect place for a family winter getaway. But everything 'they' say about Askergan is wrong... dead wrong.
For the first time on record, a blizzard is blowing over Askergan--a storm so powerful that it knocks out a local power line, trapping his family inside with no heat and no electricity.
Cody believes all he has to do is to protect his wife and daughters from frostbite. But when he hears a haunting voice in the blizzard urging him into the storm, he realizes that the stakes are much greater than frozen fingers and toes. Something in the driving snow wont be content until Cody heeds its call and delivers his entire family, presenting the gift of their smooth, supple skin...

Review
Readers' reactions to Skin:
"I would definitely recommend this to any horror fan. Very vivid writing, great character work and a sharp concept... Expect a turbulent, violent ride..." -Jenny A., Goodreads Review
"Very interesting read. I have read many sci-fi and horror books but have never come across a monster like this..." -John J., Goodreads Review
"An excellent read for fans of the genre. Fast-moving, compelling read that kept me entranced. Finished it in 3 sittings." - Michael L., Goodreads Review
"This is one very bizarre story, difficult to put down and totally engrossing." -Jeanine, Goodreads Review
"A great horror read with an engaging plot, good characters and a fairly high pace. Well recommended to anyone who like early Stephen King or Cliver Barker." - Mattias, Goodreads Review
"Any author can write a book about the big bad monster coming after the characters, but it takes a really good writer to keep you scared without telling you what is after you. After all, the brain can conjure so many more horrifying things..." Robert G., Amazon Reviewer
"The story was great, preposterous and very gross, but I could not put it down. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and am wondering where the author got his imagination." -MdianeM, Amazon Reviewer

Looking forward to more from Logan
By Frankie G
This was a good and creepy sci-fi read from what seems to be a new author, and I'm looking forward to seeing more from him in the near future. Logan shows a unique ability to paint vivid pictures of his characters and their situations with his use of well placed metaphors and naturally flowing dialogue. I would recommend it to anyone looking to get into a new, young author of fiction. A few days after my read and some of the scenes are still running through my head. Nice work!

I would definitely recommend this to any horror fan
By Jenny
I would definitely recommend this to any horror fan. Very vivid writing, great character work and a sharp concept. It reminded me of an updated twist on the blob or any of the old horror movies. Expect a turbulent, violent ride. My only complaint is with editing. There are a good number of typos, but the story and the quality of writing was definitely worth it!

Terror With Typos
By Home Studio
I haven't finished Skin yet (although I will). The writer is talented and has a knack for creating tension and suspense. But this book is KILLING me with the typos and misspellings. I've come to accept that we'll encounter a few in self-published works, but at a certain point (say, the 50th example) it starts to feel like an insult to the reader.

I'm a writer and we all make mistakes. But before a book goes to market it's important to make it as error free as possible (usually through hiring a proofreader to bring fresh eyes to the manuscript). And unlike printed books, an ebook can actually be corrected after a purchase has been made. I hope Mr. Logan will do that, as his writing deserves better than this sloppy presentation.
