About the Author
At the age of 17, Curtis Allen commenced college as a physics major on a science scholarship. Soon after, fate intervened via a powerful personal query, launching him on an odyssey of self-discovery and illumination that would take the next twenty years to complete. He searched with passion for the missing pieces to the ultimate cosmic puzzle. During physics lectures, the deep ramifications of Dr. von Heisenberg’s Principle of Uncertainty brought to light the concept that the eternal verities of life would remain forever beyond our reach. Dr. von Heisenberg defined a barrier beyond which it is stated: “You shall not pass.” In a flash of cognitive awareness, Mr. Allen saw the illusive state of absolute certainty—by definition—would never be achieved by humanity, if we continued to follow only the means of our present technology and its trajectory. While working on personal experiments toward the resolution of these thorny conundrums, Curtis Allen completed his degree and graduated cum laude from the University of the State of New York. Since then, he has held such positions as CEO for Neuroscience Industries, Inc.; CEO for Business Software Products Co. (a developer of early Windows-type technology) and President of the Strategic Learning Institute, Inc. Mr. Allen hosted the San Francisco based tele-vision show In the Mind's I, where he interviewed notables in physics, neuroscience and philosophy such as author-physicist Dr. Fred Alan Wolf, featured in the film "What the Bleep do We Know? ". He was also the co-originator of Robot Wars (precursor to the television show, BattleBots). Mr. Allen has lectured for national organizations including MENSA, PC Clubs of America and the U. S. Department of Agriculture. He was awarded The John Templeton Foundation grant for Creative Research in Neurobiology for the development of a product utilizing complex electromagnetic waveforms for technologically assisted consciousness exploration. He co-founded an independent publishing company whose books were sold to Time Warner Publications, HarperCollins, Allen & Unwin and Macmillan. Five of the books have since been translated and published in seventeen different languages. Curtis Allen has had the good fortune to study at length with world-renowned leaders in the fields of science, spirituality, yoga and philosophy. Grounbreaking new paradigm for science and religion

"This book, Quantum Christ, is a herald of the new paradigm, defining the space where Physics and Spirit meet. With humor and practical examples, he makes the difficult (and sometimes arcane) subjects science and religion deal with, accessible to everyone. This book is sure to stir controversy among the pundits of both disciplines and give thinking people solid evidence that there is much, much more to this Universe than immediately meets the surface eye. He has surpassed the Brights, and ushered in the era of the Brilliants.
Here's a little sample of his rhetoric:
It is totally irrelevant whether one returns to the original Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic, German, Latin, Sanskrit, etc.; whatever those words mean to anyone, at any given time, is only made sense of in the light of someone doing a bang-up job of interpretation. As the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche stated the case, "There are no facts, only interpretations." There are no fundamentalists or biblical literalists who live by every word in the scriptures; regardless of what they think or claim. There only exist those who have interpreted and extrapolated a doctrine of what they think certain, specific collections of words and phrases (that they have selected and appropriated from the Bible, Koran, Sutras or Vedas) mean or imply...
Now on the subject of black holes, many will defer to physicists such as Stephen Hawking under the assumption that he and his colleagues, who have spent the greater part of their lifetime in the contemplation, experimentation and peer-reviewed exposition about such matters, are probably closer to the correct and complete picture than one who has been working, say, in the stock market or as a rheumatoid arthritis surgeon. To follow the logic, if one is in need of an operation for a hip replacement and not trained in medicine, they will probably place their faith (and their life) in the hands and assumed expertise of their chosen physician. But in matters of religion, where one's immortal soul is presumably at stake, to simply take your chosen or traditional `authority' and believe what they feed you or believe what you were fed as a child from the spoon of your parents--this is really taking credulity a bit too far.
Everyone is certain that they and their church are the biblical literalists; that they and their sect are following the "true meaning and intent" of the words of Christ. As it has been interminably pointed out by many of the critics of religion, with there being such a proliferation of diametrically opposed doctrines, interpretations and beliefs engaged in by the thousands of variations and brands of religion being practiced and embraced today, they can't all be right. Does anyone in the theological world acknowledge this except for perhaps those few who, in their humble realization of the truth contained in this statement, have often left the church in order to more closely and deeply seek God?
Quantum Christ, is destined to become a classic of the genre as it makes friends and enemies.

Engaging Brilliance

Allen takes the reader on delightful tour through everything from scientific materialism and quantum physics, to examinations of the nature of truth, the nature of knowing, the nature of God and oneself. He has an enthusiasm for revealing to the reader the connections between wildly diverse views and how to go beyond them all. His thorough knowledge of these areas and his rare ability to communicate a unifying vision and understanding carries one through what might have otherwise been abstruse material, so that you can discover the profound gems that Allen sprinkles all along the way. This is an extraordinary feat! This is an excellent, insightful and intelligent book. You'll want to ponder again and again what Allen so expertly makes accessible to everyone. I highly recommend it!

Interesting modern approach bringing science and religion together

This is a very interesting book which gives solid reasons why what we know about quantum mechanics and the teachings of Christ can be both understood without conflicts. The author also says that this is to be the first book that he will write on this topic.
